Still Life - End of the season
60cm x 40cm Oil on board Unframed. These are the few remaining Echinacea flowers and stems in my garden for this season. Painting them is a way to capture the beauty seen in the abstract form it takes in this stage of its life cycle. The abstract nature of the large cones on the long stems appealed to me and suited the arrangement of clear glass jars. This painting is framed with a natural timber float frame.
