Way Up In The Swamp Gums

Way Up In The Swamp Gums

Painted with oil paints on primed timber board

60cm x 50cm Unframed (Framing Optional)

Up where the cockatoos perch and screech their morning song, the Swamp Gum and the Swamp She-Oak branches sway in the breeze.

Early morning can be when the subtle variation in colour of these tree branches is most obvious. I painted this on Day 4 of the Strada Easel Challenge, the sky was grey, no clouds just bright grey.
